Dear Mr. Weather Man

Thank you for making the fall weather so beautiful here in Provo! I really appreciate it!Friday night I had a girls night. Nail painting and cookie dough was pretty much the whole night. Saturday afternoon a big group of St. George kids got together thanks to the help of Stephanie Abraham and Josh Small for a little "Thanksgiving feast" only it was in the afternoon before the game. The food was delicious - and the game was horrible!

If you know anything about the Staples clan it is that we DO NOT ice skate. When I was in the second grade I had a little crash on my rollerblades and broke my tailbone. I hate skating of any kind - with a passion. Naturally the boys would take us skating. I literally clung on to the railing for 90% of the time until Jordan finally helped teach me. I am improving slowly but surely.

Late Birthday

I forgot to wish my twin nieces a happy birthday at the beginning of the month! Can you believe how grown up the are? Meet the Pres and VPres - that is right they run the school. Now if I could only get them to come visit. Or maybe I need to go to Texas ASAP!

Zumba

I have wanted to try this since I joined Golds. I am loving their classes here in P-town! I saw it on Tak's sister-in-laws blog and decided - what the heck! So I made Cate come with me on Friday night and I literally smiled the whole time. It is like Latin, mixed with African, and Hip-Hop. I decided it is the perfect cure for the girl who wishes she was born when dance parties weren't so disgusting. It is the perfect Friday workout and you get totally drenched! And hey there is even old ladies in there - give it a try!

Happy Birthday Nat and Mary

Tomorrow is my sister Nat's Birthday and my Sister-in-law Mary's Birthdays!

Nat is just the best - from going to the lake to wonder Mom - to brilliant business woman she has got it all. I was so lucky to have seen Nat so many times this past year. I am grateful for everything she does for and for allowing me to watch her sweet little boy Ryan for 2 weeks. I hope you have a great birthday and I promise we will celebrate soon. Mary is my long lost twin. Or at least I like to think so. For marrying the only boy out of 7 she sure has held her own in our fam. She is miss organized and miss fashionista. And more than anything she can calm Derek down and speaking for all the sisters I can say we will forever be grateful for that. Mary and I get the giggles more than any 2 people I know. So I hope you have a great day and have lots of good giggles!

1. I LOVE to eat Lemons with Salt on them.

3. My biggest pet peeve is dirty dish rags. When people don't rinse them out and just leave them in a ball in the sink.
4. My other biggest pet peeve is ugly car handles. I won't name any in case you are a criminal of the ugly car handles. But I will say that they can make or break a car. Call me before you purchase one
5. I want to own a fashion store one day
6. I love to sew - but am horrible at it

Check out the princess at the right. That is Miss. Miss is always about 2 years ahead of me - although she is 2 years younger. She kissed boys before me, she voted before me, she will probably be married before me, she will probably graduate before me.. she is just plain ahead of me. She is a go-getter I tell you. I can't wait for the little thing to get up here next year so we can play. I love you Missers! Happy Birthday!

ARGHH!

Lesson #1 About Provo... Halloween is insane! This year I decided to be a pirate. Not a cute one. Like a Jack Sparrow Pirate. I think I turned out rather scary if you ask me. Takael and Karli swore they wanted to be nerds. When they showed up in these costumes I about peed my pants. They decided the couldn't do it so we had to get them some new costumes.
Cate and Kourtney were pirates too.
Claire is adorable as always. And here is Tak and Karli's new costumes.

My hair was insane. It was fake dreads with beads. I had a fun time getting those babies out.
It is so fun to go to all the parties and see all the CRAZY costumes. I think I saw 10 Michael Phelps... speedo's and all. I love bein with the girls. We can ll be together and just have fun. No need for the crazy party life when you have girls.Jordan and his friends when to the UVU party. We went to the Hollywood House and the one at my apartment complex. Have I mentioned that my apartment complex has the best parties? The boys met up with us after the parties were over for a little recap. I love it cause we have such a great group of friends.He wasn't sure what he was... but I think everyone decided he was the guy off of Scooby Doo by the end of the night. I am just glad he dressed up.
This was perhaps the best part of the night. This picture is for Emily, Elizabeth, Kelsey, Lacey and whatever STG sibling or parent looks at this blog. As we were sitting around chatting we were suddenly surrounded by these men. In this picture we have Michael Orton, Aaron Adams, Trent Tipton, Brad Barber, Levi, Steven Matheson, Josh Small, and Connor Schone. Don't ask me which one is which. Those white dots are battery powered lights. They would walk in to a party flip those on and then go about their choreographed dance. The best part was hearing how serious they were about it. Naturally they found us girls and danced around us making us the center of the Hollywood party. They kill me.

I woke up this morning sick as a dog with swollen eyes and no voice... I have candy/dancing/singing/running in the rain/being in pirate character hangover...Only in Provo.
