Yesterday James and I celebrated our 2 month anniversary.
We were SO excited to celebrate.
Any reason we have for a little date night -
you know we are in.
On February 1st 2010
James and I celebrated our 4 month anniversary of our first kiss.
He brought me 4 roses.
The tradition continued last night.
Nothing makes a girl happier than roses with meanings.
We don't eat out much so when we do I get really excited.
We've been dying to try out some of the new restaurants around town.
Last night we went to the newly renovated Riverwoods shops
and ate at La Jolla Gardens.
If you haven't been...
It is a must.
Such a fun atmosphere -
no preservatives in the entire restaurant.
Same chef from Chefs Table
but much better prices.
Everything is under $20.
In honor of our first meeting we delved into a delicious
Avalanche Caramel Apple
from Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory.
We then started a new tradition.
Going to the temple on our annivesary.
Nothing better than remembering the promises we made to each other...
and more importantly that we get to be together forever if we keep those promises.
It was the perfect celebration.
And in the end we realized how wonderful married life is.
I thought I knew how much I loved this boy...
but it gets better and better with every day.
We continue to keep each other laughing.
James said the best part of being married is being able to wake up together.
And I think the best part is knowing he is mine forever.
Never leaving me.
I remind him of it daily!
We've been lovin' the new Rascal Flatts CD around here.
Those boys have a special place in our relationship.
Both James and I thought we had love before...
but we had no idea how incredible love could be.
You can't describe the sea,
Unless you been there before.
It's just a mystery,
Until your standing on the shore,
And moved by every wave
Taking your breath away like you do,
To me.
Thought I'd been touched,
Thought I'd been kissed,
Thought I'd been loved,
But it was nothing nothing like this.
Unless you been there before.
It's just a mystery,
Until your standing on the shore,
And moved by every wave
Taking your breath away like you do,
To me.
Thought I'd been touched,
Thought I'd been kissed,
Thought I'd been loved,
But it was nothing nothing like this.

Roses get expensive after 10 years...
I prefer more of a "surprise! i cleaned the toilet..."
