In my journalism classes we are reminded
almost daily
that the newspaper business is dying.
The generation that liked to
wake up
get their paper from their front door step
and actually tangibly read the newspaper
is slowly dwindling away.
Now people get their news electronically.
Today I was doing a little cleaning and thinking about my future career
in this ever changing business of journalism...
when suddenly I was halted by my husbands massive stash of Wall Street Journals.
In "yesterdays" form.
Hard core paper.
That is right people.
My husband is your traditional 90 year old man
wakes up each morning
opens the door
happily picks up his paper that was thrown on our doorstep by the local paper boy
heads to the kitchen
pours himself a big bowl of Fruity Pebbles
and reads his morning paper.
While my Professors fear that real journalism is going to slip away with tangible newspapers..
I have bigger fish to fry.
How in the world am I going to get my cute old man out of bed with out his morning paper?

LOL... I love this. I'm glad to know this tradition lives on in someone.
Karly, just had to stop by and say thank you!!! for everything. We just sat down to watch the BYU weekly clip for Bijou Market, it was so well done (and edited) and you're such a natural!
Thank you thank you!
