Love Diner...

I will be the first to admit James and I are a little Valentines happy over here.
Ok, maybe I am just VERY Valentines happy.
Since we spent last Valentines in a broken hearted misery...
we are hitting two years of love with one arrow if you will.

Welcome to the Love Diner...
where burgers are fixed and
husbands are happy.

On the cooks orders James spent the afternoon with the boys
while she scurried around the house transforming it into a diner.
I could hardly wait for James to get home.
Honestly.
The anticipation was killing me.

 On the menu...
The famous Earl Milne hamburgers
(my Grandpa)
Cream cheese in the middle.
Delicious.
Corn on the cob.
House salad.
Mexican Coke
(James' favorite)
and of course our #1 treat
Sweet Tooth Fairy Cake Bites.

It was a low budget diner but it definitely received a 5 star rating from it's #1 critic.
It was the perfect romantic night in!
Lucky for me James loves how much I love holidays.
At the very end of our night
I sat on the family room floor making Valentines
while James watched Sports Center.
Both in our jammies
James drinking Martinelli's straight out of the bottle...
me with my paper mess all over the floor
both just perfectly content hanging out with each other.
I realized this whole Valentines - pink and red fluff - thing may be kind of silly
but it does make me stop for a minute and think how very blessed I am to have found my Mr. Right.
Pink and red hearts aside, today...
just like any other day
I want James to know how much I love his stinkin guts.
Or as we always say...
I love you to the moon and back and to the moon and back again.
Je T'aime

You guys are too stinking cute. I love your "love diner". OH will you send me your hamburger recipe. It looks so good and baby thinks he needs one. I crave "five guys" all the time.

Grandpa Earl is smiling down upon you! It made him so happy making those hamburgers for those he loved. He would have loved James and would have had a great time eating those burgers and watching sports with him!

Looks like you got your Valentine's of your dreams and your surprise Love Diner turned out perfect!
