Love Auction...

When I told my Mom about this idea she said I had to share.
I have been hearing about this church activity since I moved into the ward.
Each year the women in the Relief Society host a "Love Auction."
Each person is asked to bring an item to give away.
When you arrive you are handed a quiz sheet.
You are then awarded points based on your good deeds.
You are awarded points for doing service,
making your bed, having less than 3 loads of laundry to do, giving hugs, etc. etc.
You can then use your points to buy the items in an auction.
You can also pool your points with other women for big ticket items.
It gets heated over those big items and is really a hoot.
Some of the coveted items on our list?
A day at a beach house, a professional photo shoot,
bottles of Pam Summers famous chocolate sauce and movie tickets.
I took home some delicious homemade spaghetti sauce for my spaghetti loving husband.
Clearly I could work on my good deeds.
Nevertheless, it was the perfect love month activity.
